Answer EXOTHERMIC REACTION: The chemical reaction which releases heat during the reaction to the surrounding are called exothermic reaction. "Exo" means "out" and "thermic" means "heat". The exothermic reaction releases heat to the surroundings so that the surrounding becomes hotter, by which we can identify an exothermic reaction.
