its a personal preference , most of my students found that thin picks are better for them. a thin plectrum will bend when you will be strumming. for me thin picks are better because i like the percussive sound of thin picks over harder ones. also it makes it easier for me to strum at high speed. its...

its a personal preference , most of my students found that thin picks are better for them. a thin plectrum will bend when you will be strumming. for me thin picks are better because i like the percussive sound of thin picks over harder ones. also it makes it easier for me to strum at high speed. its just a personal choice, you can try both and then decide which suits you.

Its more convenient for strumming. Basically the upstrokes will be easier.

Chords can be played more softer using thin pick. While playing lead and chords Upstrokes and downstrokes becomes much more easier because of its flexibility.

Learn to play the Guitar quicker and easier than most beginners

Guitar picks are a personal preference. There is no such advantage of a thin or thick one. It's all trial and error and what works best for you. I personally prefer 0.80- 1mm

Guitar picks are personal preference.like the size of the pen you use for writing.I personally prefer jazz3 picks.It is difficult to play at high speeds with a thin pick.but go with whatever works best for you .
